Why use a PiezoMeter?
It is fast, convenient, and accurate. The PiezoMeter offers superior resolution and consistency compared to static methods, and is appropriate to almost any sample geometry. An accurate reading is achieved in seconds – all that is required is an electroded area where one can apply the force and collect the charge.
Either as standard, or with special options, our PiezoMeter systems can handle piezo ceramics, piezo polymers and piezo films, whether free-standing or mounted on Silicon or other substrates, as well as composite materials and devices.
Which model?
All systems consist of a force unit, which grips the device under test and applied the force, and an electronics module which processes the electrical output from the piezoelectric material. All PiezoMeter Systems have been designed with ease and speed of use in mind, making production testing efficient.
Options are available for testing of capacitance and dielectric loss, and for high-sensitivity testing of low-output materials. Adaptors are available for testing of d31 and d15.
